The rose is about 1/2 way through bloom quite a few buds still to open.
The yucca flower spears can be seen behind it and one shot showing the yuccas. I just counted 10 flower spears on the yucca. Cool 😎...
More pics coming soon. 🙂

The daisy bed has just a few popping, the hydrangea is loaded to burst. The winter daphne is all done, the Jasmine coming to life.

Kind of annoying that our photos get turned sideways here sometimes. But at least no hosting site is required.

You definitely go for ornamentals with your edibles and you have such a spacious garden Herbert. Do you use any kind of fabric for weed suppression between the beds?

MarkWD Level 7 June 13, 2020

No fabric at all, hand pulling and hoeing. I tried a fabric in one bed and larger rooting plants and shrubs lifted it and i tore it mostly up. Easier to mulch. Weeds are easier to pull out of the mulch.
Tried it once, hoeing works better, Healthier too...i spend at least 1 hour a day up to 3 hours a day depending on rainfall. This has been a wet chilly spring up to now and the lack of sunlight and so far no break in it. Starting to worry about the garden plants.

Nice garden. What's the tree behind them??

freeofgod Level 8 June 13, 2020

The bush in the bed left rear of the yuccas is a snowball. It is done flowering and been pruned. The larger tree behind it is a thornless locust tree.

Looks like the one photo on right never kept the rotational formatting. Still having some issues around that i guess.
