What a beauty of a rose.. Yesterday while pruning my sandwhich chards the sweet scent was nicely comforting... Today i counted 13 flower spears in the Yucca's.

I usually clear out the roughest at the bottom every spring and again right after they finish blooming. This year they get a good cleanup by removing some of the older plants allowing the new area for them to grow back into. A game of flip flop. I never cared for continuing to remove leaves to make taller heavier stalk.
@HerbertNewsam I normally remove the done stalk but have just started removing the bottom dead leaves. I have 4 plants and am curious how this will affect their growth. Plants seem to do better when there's not so much dead wood/material.
