So lovely! Do you have to mow all that turf very often there?
Yes - too often! In mid-summer I could mow every week... but usually put it off too long.
@FrostyJim Oh, sorry, what a chore! I am finally nearing the end of weekly mowing here, as the temperature rises toward Aug/Sept summer in Oregon.
Isn't it usually the case? Rains one side of the road but not the other. How's your injury coming on?
It will never be the same as it was before, but it is about 95% and much better.
@FrostyJim That's always the problem.95% isn't bad. I'm nowhere near to recovering from the virus that I had several months ago but each day is a little better. Lockdown doesn't help.
@FrostyJim I recently (ie. In the last ten years) loved the meme that said "better to crawl into your grave with a broken, battered and repaired body than one that is in the same condition when born because you know that you have experienced life to the max!"
That looks gorgeous. Funny how our minds find it difficult to understand that in Alaska it is not forever snow and ice, that you too have gardens in summer.
When I lived up there - many, many years ago - I remember the growing season being very short but everything grew very fast - and very large. It was almost like watching time lapse photography....
