That is one gorgeous rose! Love the tree in the background
The red one also has intense old rose fragrance. The pink is mildly fragrant. That tree is my neighbor's Live Oak("Live" is a species of oak, not just a not dead one, lol). I have 5 mature water oaks in my back yard. Taller but not as shapely, they are nowhere near as attractive(sigh).
@MikeInBatonRouge we have Live Oaks along the coast where I grew up. I simply love them!
@Heidi68 Cool. I grew up far from here, the Pacific Northwest. The oaks there are nothing like these. Anyway, I only learned this past year that oaks as a genus are the number one most important tree for support of biodiversity in the food web. According to Entomologist Doug Tallamy, oaks support over 360 species of moth and butterfly, the caterpillars/worms of which are crucial for many different birds to be able to raise their young. Without those bugs, no birds, and the entire food web collapses. So YAY oaks!
