Cheering me up on this gray December day. Gotta tilt your gaze 90 degrees clockwise, Wedding Bells(pink), Erin Alonzo (yellow), Over the Moon(apricot), and Sweet Spirit(reaspberry blend). That last one is a week old and went through a freeze and is still hanging in there. What excites me about it is I bought it a month ago, a new variety this year, it is still in its pot, has come through all kinds of rain, fog, and frost, and yet there is not a trace of any fungal disease anywhere on the bush! AND it is fragrant. It was advertized as shrugging off heat and humidity. So far stellar. This one's a keeper! ( The bloom was quite shapely before that freeze.) Actually, Wedding Bells has also been terrifically disease resistant, too, and fragrant. Very helpful since I stopped spraying chemicals two years ago.
I like that Sweet Spirit - was it a special order, or nursery stock?
Regular order from Heirloom Roses.
