Not a "garden" but the wild Blanket flowers have burst into bloom. I dug one from the roadside about 3 years ago, it seeded and I had several in the front yard last year. This year I have a patch of them. The down side, I have to weed/hand trim the grass that grows among them. By next year I may have to resort to mowing some of them.
It was a bit late in the day when I took the picture, keep getting caught up in things and forget to get a pic in bright sunlight.
Are they a wild gazania?
Gaillardia
In the aster family, related to sunflowers and daisies. There are many varieties cultivated but they are also common as a wildflower in many states. Many varieties are perennial but the one I have, from wild stock, is an annual but reseeds very well. Transplanting from the wild wasn't simple, I tried 2-3 times and the plants all died after the move but the last one apparently spread seeds before dying and the next year a few plants grew. Fortunately, I usually give seedlings I don't recognize in the yard, time to grow until I can identify them so I didn't mow them off.
Great idea. I like the idea of 'lazy gardener'.
I've not seen those before. They are definitely worth having.
You could have used a photo editor like Pixlr to enhance the photo.
I do that too . First they need to be weeded , then watered , maybe some more fertilizer , and by then it's too dark for photos .
Lol.
