My whatever color this is iris are blooming now. They are closer to the house and always bloom a week or two behind the rest. I am working on making space for a couple others in the same area as the wh ite iris have taken over almost all the space around the yard, crowding out all others. I never actually planted any wh ite ones, it was apparently early root/tuber stock for some of the more colorful hybrids I did plant. Over the years I ended up with LOTS of wh ite ones. They seriously need thi nning as well.

We have the same problem with deep purple ones - they have taken over and pushed out the more subtle colours. I don't know how they do it.

Gorgeous! The white ones grow wild around my house in Italy. Must be the original colour.
