We've had such a slow season this year that my day and easter lilies hadn't bloomed yet, so it was a nice surprise to get home from a trip to find them all perky along my alley. Such a simple thing that really makes me happy.

The weather stayed cool and rainy longer than usual so most plants were slow to grow, especially blooming ones. Typically, our first blooming season starts in March (with another in August/September), but this year it was well into May.
