I'm not seeing any bees in the garden this year. We may be in for a rough time pollinating! It's just too dry.
@Sheannutt A few years ago I did that in my back yard. I had a couple of old dog dishes and I drowned a lot of bees! Then I broke up an old cinder block and put the pieces in those dishes and the bees had a landing spot and could lap up the moisture from the wicking action of the broken pieces of cinder block. No more drowned bees I need to go do the same thing! Thanks for reminding me!!
@Sheannutt The sides of my bowls were vertical and slimy. I think they couldn't grab on to anything and they slid down into the water. Wasps, on the other hand, float on their little feet. Maybe I just had weird bees??
@farmboy2017 do a coffee can lid with ~sugar~ water for them. I have three ~sugar~ water lids in my garden to feed the bees and I add water to them every morning
@SkotlandSkye That sounds reasonable.
