It looks like a darker pink than the previous one. Why do you grow cotton Fb. Is it experimental...... ornamental....... useful.....?

I'm an ex cotton farmer! You can take the boy off the cotton farm but you can't take the cotton farm out of the boy!

No spraying for us. We released about 350 lady bugs into the garden a week ago so that's our pest control.
@farmboy2017 Do the lady bugs take care of corn ear borers I don't have a lot of experience with corn .
@Besalbub I've not had a problem with borers in garden corn. When I was a commercial farmer, I had to spray and plow the roots up. Borers overwinter in the root system so uproot the stalk. I wouldn't think a lady bug is useful unless she got at the eggs.??
@farmboy2017 I'm going to try the BT on the ears I lost a lot to the ear borers last year . I don't like using chemicals and BT is not harmful to the bees I have had sucess with BT and vine boarers
