So we took a little break for lunch. Then went back out and thinned out the Ice Cream Banana trees. We put them in the ground near the house in our other banana bed. And put the smallest pup in a pot to baby for a while. Only problem I got dehydrated even though I have been chugging water and Gatorade all day. Now my muscles are cramping and I have a hell Iβve a headache. But we got it done.
One of the thing I discovered is that if you chew a few antacids like Tums as well as keep hydrated the cramping can be greatly reduced. I have been told that muscle cramping is related to lack of calcium in the muscle nerve axions.
If you start developing more symptoms of heat stroke you may want top take a trip to Emergency.
More Gatorade and something salty too.
I hate heat stroke.
Do you wear a wonderful gardening hat? It helps. Something with a raised crown on it. Keeps the heat off the top of your head.
Also amazing to be able to grow bananas at home!
Yes I have a hat just for working in the heat. And growing bananas is one of the perks of living in Florida
