I've been haying for the last couple of weeks not a lot of time to check the garden. Went out today after I got rained out yesterday and this morning. Damn, the weeds have taken over, spent 8 hours and only got about half done. The good news is in a week there will be Swiss chard, peas, beans and yellow zucchini. There is more green zucchini ready now. I took pictures of the first ones I picked but, natural they are no the stupid can't get them off phone.
In the 100+ temps of central Texas not much is growing not even the weeds.
Where I live we have rich deep black loam, it has been getting into the high 20's and low 30's degrees C with lot of showers and cool nights at 15 to 17C. In these conditions the plant life just explodes; you can literally watch things grow.
Too bad the weeds don't taste better gardening would be a lot easier .
Lamb's quarter actually is not a bad tasting green but it starts setting seeds almost as soon as it emerges, so by the time you can start picking leaves the garden is totally seeded to it.
You should be able to email them to yourself on your computer and go from there.
I tried it doesn't work, I will be seeing my 11 yer old granddaughter tomorrow so its all good, she will know how to do it.
@HeathenFarmer lol yes the young ones are gifted.
