Seeing as how everyone has been showing photos of their produce and I had been out feeding the worms and noticed the first lemon missing off the young bush in the pot. A quick search in the grass underneath where it was last seen located it. I then noticed a second lemon and picked it before it fell off. I also decided to grab a spring onion.
Now the spring onion has seen several springs having grown from the root and half an inch of white of one of a bunch bought from the supermarket.
So here is a photo of two lemons and one elderly spring onion.
I had three inches off the white in a salad several days ago, the rest is languishing so may well end up as worm fodder
Nice
Thanks, the onion green at this age is tough as old boots unless pressure cooked or very finely diagonally sliced and then diced.
The lemons may not be good being first fruit and having had irregular water. Winter crop can sometimes be better than summer.
