We are continuing to attempt to design some type of water feature for a part of our habitat garden. Thoughts now are to terrace the back part, providing then a level 6'x6' area we can raise using some old 6x6" landscape timbers. Then, a 4'×4' second raised deck in the middle of that. All raised bed areas to be filled with gravel and landscape rock. Place a pre-fab fountain & pond in the gravel so we can disassemble & store the fountain/pond inside in the winter. I disassembled our 15 year old iron chimena and kept the parts I thought might make interesting planters. Linda came home, looked out our office window, and wanted to know why I'd buried an old steam locomotive in the garden.
