This head is heavy,
I bow waiting to rise,
timing in rhythm
with the sun on my eye,
please stay steady,
and I'm ready.
I erect my head
looking so peppy,
then my load explodes
looking so sexy,
pale orange
with a hint of smelly.
This is no poppycock
it's nature's
blooming poppy shock.

I was going through my iris photos and I don't have a good close up of the yellow ones.
@flower_nut That was supposed to be "two-toned". This kindle habitually "corrects" me, often in ridiculous ways. I've set it to "NO auto-correct" multiple times but it will not stop.

My iris are covered in a few inches of ice.
@flower_nut well that just isn't fun... I have them all over the place - I find it interesting the difference in growth.

Looks like you have short and tall ones? I would pull off any dead or yellow leaves and remove debris from the base of your iris. Unless you're expecting more cold weather?
