I will believe it when I see it, still subzero here and now there is a blizzard.
Yuck, that is horrible!
Yes - my quince are ready to bust open -- even the hydrangeas are popping. All way toooooo soon. You know we're gonna have at least one more serious freeze between now and Easter - everything will get zapped. I cut a few of my sasanqua camellia flowers before this last cold snap so I could enjoy them indoors - along with the daffodils
Those are beautiful!
I'm just jealous. we're having the coldest temps of the year. It was a whopping 18 degrees yesterday.
Well that sucks! The last 2 nights were in the 20s but the days have been fairly nice (40s). Next week is suppose to be in the 60s here so maybe yours will be heading up also.
I'll have to enjoy your lovely photos while I wait for the snow to clear here in northern IL.
I will keep.sharing so you will know warmer weather is coming ???⚘???
I love your pictures! When you post pictures of your plants it always brightens my day.
Thank you! I love photographing plants, flowers, trees and animals. Humans not so much... ?
I tried taking a pic of the native lily we have all over here. It was too bright to show the pretty blue
Not lily. Iris
@Zoohome Beautiful!!!! I so need to see some flowers and budding trees.
@Redheadedgammy oh here everything is blooming. Pollen season is high.
@Zoohome Still a little to cold here in Southwest Texas if you can believe that! Had a couple of cold nights the past few nights. Hope it's the end of the cold weather!!!
Love that shot with the sun rays!
@Redheadedgammy I hope so too. ?
@Redheadedgammy, @Heidi68 thanks! But I'll get a more true color pic at some point.
We have a lot of Siberian Iris on this property - is this the same thing as yours? It makes a great groundcover because it spreads so quickly.
no fair, we just had a killing freeze here the last 3 days. Thankfully. none of my trees had started blooming yet, I may have lost my all spice tree, I'll know in a few days when either it's leaves fall off or perk up.
I was worried here too cuz I have some buds on my Pear trees and it got down to 28 night before last, then down to 32 last night. I am so ready for some warmth and sunshine!!!
@Redheadedgammy @glennlab I was worried because it got so low here last night (and again tonight) hopefully everything will survive.
