I think I've I.D.ed the duck; it's probably a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck;
What I want to know is why is the one on the fence staring at that wooden bird.
Remember that Muscovy's are indeed friendlier than most ducks...but they're considered ecological disasters. They overbreed too quickly. The push out many shyer native species. They will defecate on sidewalks in local parks...and their feces contain the Psittacosis worm eggs that will get on your shoes and in to your toddlers' digestive system in no time.
They're a serious problem here in Florida...
I love those ducks. I raised Muscovy ducks on my farm for years and they would love to fly around and perch way up in the trees. They were huge ducks, weighing more than twenty or thirty pounds. When they flew it sounded like Hollywood special effects for the dragon movies.
I don't know which Duck family these two are, but they are pretty with their orange legs and feet. They have been stopping by the last week and usually sit on the fence for a bit then take off. This is the first time I've seen them actually get in the bird feeder....LOL

It's called a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck! Not very common...mostly a Mexican duck (watch out, Ducky...Trump fears/hates you!)
That's kinda funny!
The one in the feeder was really going to town on that seed. Guess they wanted a little treat. LOL
