The Marsh Marigolds, Caltha palustris are flowering in the garden pond now. Both the single form and the double. Some people say that the flowers of the double form last longer but, though they grow next to one another I doubt there is half a days difference. What the double form however is a much neater more compact plant, only growing to a foot high.
