Is it edible as it is or is it a dried corn? It is really gorgeous, though.

I have only seen it dried, it is edible, but not sure of its taste. I imagine it is a lot like mexican palm dates, they are edible, the question is why you would want to.

Someone mentioned popping it.

@Heidi68 I think you missed my point, Mexican palm dates are edible, but neither pretty or tasty. Your example on the otherhand is both.
