My late partner and I would walk to the local shopping center and take alleys in our neighborhood. Anything that had 'escaped' a persons yard was fair game for her.
Once we moved we discovered an amazing research center/discovery garden. When we would walk through the different demonstration gardens I sometimes had to take a different path as she would 'collect' plants!

@JackPedigo . A female friend of mine still picks flowering tree branches from neighbors yards. It irritates me to see her doing these things. She thinks I'm wrong and it's all fair game.
@OldGoat43 If it's inside the yard it is theft. Most of the alleys we went to were not paved so lots of escapees. Once we spotted a giant fig whose branches were over the path. She was in heaven with all those ripe figs.
Yeah I grew it so I plucked it lol
