Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The definitions are not based on the Phenotype (its physical appearance) but by its' growth relevant to the gardening practices of us H. sapiens. A weed is an unwanted wild growth in any of our places of cultivation. A wildflower could be the same exact plant - NOT growing in our "gardens" or "farms" (cultivated places)

Perhaps if it pops up in your tomato garden, one would considered it a weed, but I think I'd just let it grow.
