Never thought about how the pandemic will affect gang memberships. There are tons of lessons to be learned from this situation. Problem is, if we don't learn them we are toast. Mother Nature really, really practices tough love!

They have a great climate down there. Did not use to mind the winters here but I have gotten more sensitive to the cold. 🙂
I have garden plots at the community garden in town.

Doesn't it get bitterly cold where you live?

@JackPedigo yes it can get very/bitterly cold. It's a different sort of cold. 45 degrees and wet on the west side feels way colder than 45 degrees and dry over here. Every place has their pluses and minuses when it comes to the temperature.

@silverotter11 See your point and I guess that goes for the heat as well. I wonder if there is a chart showing the range of temps and humidity. For instance what does 45 degrees with say 90% humidity equate to?
We do get cold here but it is often short and not often. Still there is the darkness (which you also have) and more rain.

@JackPedigo 45 and high humidity feels to the bone cold sometimes. If you're acclimated to it you don't notice it.

@silverotter11 I don't notice it when I stay inside. Often it's dry inside the house. Last winter it never went above 50%. I guess one can get used to anything but I could never get used to, hot.

@JackPedigo The humidity inside my apartment can get so low in the winter the inside of my nose hurts!! Summer time by late in the day out side can be in the teens!!. But go down by the Yakima River and you really notice the difference.
I remember driving back to Seattle from a trip east to visit the family. A coupe of miles before you actually see it you can feel the humidity of the Mississippi River, conditions need to be right but it is interesting to feel the humidity rise.

@silverotter11 lol and if you wear glasses you can often even see it. We have a large high tunnel hoop house and when walking into it your glasses fog up to the point you can no longer see. Interesting, maybe that's why it feels even hotter than it is.
