Hi guys, I don’t grow anything of my own yet, but I’m very interested in aquaponics. Glad to be part of the group
Keep us posted on your progress. I, for one, will be more likely to try this if I know someone who has done it already. Right now it seems too expensive and time consuming for me too try. Maybe tracking your progress will change my mind!
Welcome! I have never experimented with aquaponics. I hope you will share your progress with the group!
With hydroponics you have equipment like water pumps and air pumps that must function 24x7, which puts certain demands on the gardener. You can do small experiments without a water pump and using an aquarium air pump, but if you want to grow very much, you need better equipment. Keep it as simple as you can.
I've heard that air prune pots grow things as fast, I'm going to look into it.
What’s Aquaponics ? You mean HYDROponics ?
Aquaponics is hydroponics plus raising fish or other aquatic life to try to create a small scale balanced ecosystem
