Nearly finished my outdoor raised garden.
I finally filled all of my 2'x8' boxes with compost.
The box farthest to the right had 5 tomatoe plants, 6 tomato cages.
There's pumpkin and corn on the corner nearest the camera.
The other boxes have Jalapeno, Red Peppers (sweet kind), carrots, radish, onion, spinach, lettuce, sugar snap pees, cantaloupe. I have to pick up beans and water melon. (The ones I started indoors died... Cats played a role), as well as more onions.
So, as far as the corn goes, do you not have problems with birds eating it?
Dunno, first time I've ever tried growing corn.
I have an eagles nest nearby..
No squirrels.. birds don't even pick at our feeders.
@MaddMax30 I'm sure you have crows.
@AstralSmoke surprisingly no. I think the Eagle scares them all off.
I bought plants!! I just hope to get them in the ground before they die.
Great progress, MaddMax. My gardenng tasks for today are planting the cucumbers and some assorted herbs , which go into pots. The sun is shining, although rain was forecast. Happy planting.
