I moved into this house in 2013, who puts grass in an area that you cannot get a mower into? I decided to plant hostas, and a guy I was dating gave me the hostas, and he lasted a few more weeks. The hostas have done well and are doing good again this year. Last year the hostas looked glorious and then we had a huge hailstorm. Maybe this year they will fare better.

I love them, I planted them and then ignored them. They thrive.
They are the perfect plant for that location.
