I never grow my cucumbers on the ground! I don't like that bleached out streak that happens with soil contact, however, I just don't want to bend over to pick 'em so I grow on a trellis! I've tried to get pole beans to climb up okra but was never successful with it. Maybe I should try again!!

@Sheannutt It was in 2011 and I think my mistake was that I planted the beans too early and the okra wasn't big enough to trail the beans onto. I have a whole 4x8 bed of okra this year. It'll be big enough in 6 weeks that I might try again. But, I will double check compatibility.

@kenriley Might try that too. I planted corn about 6 days ago!
