These are also growing below the Arbor vitae cerebelli and seem to like it there.
Hostas are native to Japan. They have some very active DNA. There are now 3500 different kinds oh hostas. I have about of them. Hosta breeder are all crazy, especially when naming the plants.

the last time I counted there were 101 different ones.

@Donto101 They are extremely addictive. I was a good customer for t\o or 3 hosta breeders, and my yard is full of tall shade trees.
