Calla Lily seed pods. I planted 6 seed pods, without separating out the individual seeds. First two to sprout happened approximately 2 weeks ago. 2nd two just sprouted 2 days ago. This is why I was reluctant to offer any on the seed exchange ...

My 13 tomato plants are really growing. Since the last picture I posted, they have growm to 6 and 1/2 to 7 feet tall. In a week or so, they will grow to over 8 feet then begin to flop over to form a canopy between rows.

I planted this a year ago, it started flowering in May and continued right through to mid November, so I was well pleased with that and plan to get a few more shortly..

My winter garden is producing well now: snow peas, green onions, spinach and beets. Today's task: making borscht. The weather is erratic and we're having some days in upper 80's with wind, so I made some temporary shade to finish off the beets....
