Berries do very well in Alaska... I'm growing strawberries, honeyberries, raspberries, gooseberries, and black currants ...oh and rhubarb too - it goes well with berries in a pie, jam, or cobler!

So yeah, I am into it. Lol. And today have to harvest sage. And got lots left from last time. 2 times a year i cut it back. The thyme was cut 3 weeks ago, the spice blend is smokey cajun. Ahhhhhhh the rewards of gardening...

Had to do a little work on the berries this morning, i should have fertilized them last fall. Just gave them some sulfur and a light sprinkling of 10-10-10. Needed to lower the ph abit. And gave them a foliar feeding also. The rains lately been above...
