I picked the first cucumber of the season a few minutes ago. The bees were in the cukes and the zinnias. I had a butterfly in the zinnias, too but no camera.

Pictures of what I have canned so far. 26 quarts and 12 pints of hot spicy pickles, and today just finished the 7 quarts of green beans. I should get 7 more today but I have to breakup and clean more beans.

Organic cotton update. This plant has 49 fruiting positions or squares. I have bolls as big as a quarter already. Let's see if I can hold all of those squares and carry them to maturity. They're the reddish leaf, bloom looking parts of the plant
