Does anyone recognize this plant? It is coming up in our garden. It seems invasive and has a reddish/orange root. I was hoping it was something nice like goldenrod/salidago? I am in MA.

Homegrown sugar free pickled beets with pearl onions. I love these but store bought are loaded with sugar and blow my low carb diet. Now need to freeze a huge bag of greens.

One of my favorite gardens to visit is in Arkansas at Blue Springs Heritage Center near Eureka Springs. Here's a link but the pics posted are mine from my last trip.

These ferns grow wild all over this property and I've had good luck transplanting a number of them closer to the house - from "sprouts" to fully open in about 10 days... I won't throw anything away that can be turned into a planter... hahahahaha

We've been inundated by rain for the last week. This garden bed is down in the low lying area of my yard. I think I may drop a fenced raised bed down on it for tomatoes & peppers.

Primula veris the delicate Cowslip is blooming in the hedgerows now and in my garden. It is not big or bold but it is wonderful in its own way.

Has anyone here used the app, "Plantnet"? I've a new phone and thought I'd try it since the camera in this thing is pretty sophisticated.

Most of the front is done! My new little darling shrub (closest to camera) is Pearly Twirly Helwingia, and from the center of willowy 1/2” wide leaves sprout the itty bitty double blossoms!!

I thought I’d share this because it is such a great idea. I am off looking for huge plastic containers and raiding recycling bins. No weeding, less watering. I’ll post as I go.
