Tomatoes are coming on strong. Oddly enough, the tomato forest is producing earlier than the raised beds out in the more sunny locations.

I had to cut down/dig up two Viburnums this spring, that I managed to kill by overtrimming last fall. I'm thinking a Japanese Maple would look good there. The front door faces East while that brick wall faces close to North. Very protected area ...

Coneflower morning. I find their structure slightly vulgar but I like the color contrast where they are mixed with orange lilies. Also, I love the yellow verio birds that come.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to those in the US. I'm in So Cal. I will be doing a lot of gardening this weekend, and I always take advantage of this sale. Lowe's and Home Depot both have mulch 5 bags for $10. Happy gardening.

A friend gave us 2 Everglades Tomato cuttings. Can’t wait for these Beauties to take off. They will grow wild in Florida and is considered a perennial here. These things will grow in the poorest of Florida’s sandy soil.
