I got this little guy about 5 yrs ago, a little splurge when it was less than a foot tall. It is a Dwarf Chamaecyparis Obtusa Gracilis. It is supposed to max out at 36", and with a western exposure it seems to like the afternoon sun and is now 35" in...

Look at these roses! While visiting Albuquerque and we went to Sandia Peak Tramway. Fun place, nice gardening and they have some plants with identification.

Dierama Wandflowers I have mentioned before I like unusual plants. A very unusual plant is blooming now. It's known as the Angel's Fishing Rod.

The unusual long flower spikes of Ligularia przewalskiae are coming out now in the garden down near the stream. Like a lot of flowers its named after a Russian general, who like many Russian officers back in Tsarist times doubled as an explorer.

Look at these wild beauties. The morning glory is growing along the back edge of the pasture and the cute purple thing is growing down a path into the woods behind the house.

Garden i have back corner of my property, my lil escape.
