I have sciatica and now I need hearing aids. Yes, this getting older stuff is a challenge.

It still (so far anyways) beats the alternative.
@RonWilliam53 The good still outweighs the bad. I'm kinda excited about the hearing aids, except for the expense.

@MoonTigerII I noticed this year that I was not hearing birdsongs. I thought maybe it was the road construction that is going on all around my neighborhood, or just too busy/distracted. I'm not going to qualify for Medicaid for a long time, so I have to pay out of pocket for now. I may be able to get them through the VA, but time is of the essence, so this time I will buy and by the time the VA gets me approved I will need a new pair. I can't do my job (customer service for hospital billing department) since I can't hear everyone clearly on the phone.
