Been with this guy for 3 years. He is 51 and I'm 42. We was happy I thought. Never fought or argued. Suddenly one morning he leaves for work kisses and tells me he loves me then after work he tells me we should split up that he no longer loves me. Is this not crazy?
That was cowardly of him. I am sorry that happened to you.
Found out tonight he was seeing someone else.
More than likely it's not as sudden as it appears. My lady of 5 years just did the same thing and left taking our two dogs with her. She just popped it on me out of the blue about two months ago. However, upon questioning her, it turns out that this had been brewing for weeks and maybe months but she never bothered to discuss it with me. She was talking to friends, family and in counseling. A big factor was this pandemic and isolation. She's a very social being and by moving in with her 83 year old widowed father, she gets to have interaction with her sister and nieces who stop by. I wouldn't allow them at our place due to their carelessness about Covid. The ironic part is that two of the nieces just got sick and both tested positive last week. I'd just give him some space and see what happens. Remember, time heals all. I feel for you...
No, not crazy. Debilitating, hurtful, earth shattering, painful. Usually with men when they say they no longer love you is because they have an affair and think that that new person is crazy about them, that the new person is going to worship them until cows come home but little do they know. Ask him why he no longer loves you, what has changed. He will very likely lie to you. You will heal, you will live, you may even find someone new in time but before that, you will cry and hurt. It will end one day and you will be okay but one thing you need to do is to start loving yourself if you want to heal. Take good care of yourself and we are here or I am here to get your hurt and frustration out.
I did ask him. He said we had nothing in common. We both are bipolar. I think that has something to do with it cause he is in his low cycle. Our bipolar feeds off of each other.
I've always been told they think the grass is greener. The thing is it is greener cause it's fertilized with bull poop
