As a woman, I wholeheartedly agree with the second sentence.
Like Jews in Babylon, the ones that stayed in Israel kept worshiping as they always had.
The Jews in Babylon thrived for 70 years and assimilated most of the conceptual aspects of the Babylonian culture, and much of their language.
When they returned to Israel they found the ones left behind, who's language and culture were now strange and foreign to the returning Jews.
They renamed them Samaritans and treated them like the US Government treated Native American Nations.
Christianity however is a special case. It is about establishing authority to justify mankind's misrule over mankind. Christianity is the religion of slaves.
The slave holders however use it to manipulate those in their thrall, they have particularly strong opinions primarily concerned with keeping everyone sorted and in their place. A forced conformity, slave mentality.
The CEO class is the current reincarnation of Nobility, the last incarnation was the Robber Barons in the later part of the 19th century when corporations literally owned their employees while the monopoly owners like J.P. Morgan lived in an almost European Nobility. Before that they were the plantation owners in the American South.
This is why the Republicans are dead set against higher salaries, but would love to give them if they can just remain as deregulated as possible. So corporations simply must be regulated to whatever extent is necessary so everyone stays in line. Lack of accountability in business is the rot that's destroying Western Civilization by perpetuating racism and poverty so they can control all the profits for the owner/CEO class.
We're all slaves.
Very true. Poor Trump supporters in the USA and working class Tory voters in the UK, Are they suffering from a form of Stockholm syndrome ?,
I can remember back to the Iraq war under Bush. Everyone was nervous about going to war. At the time, I remember preachers talking about the justification of war from a biblical standpoint. I was a Christian so I accepted the preachers justification and supported the war. Looking back I see how politicians manipulate the church to get the flock to buy into immoral acts. Of course this is just one example
