So make all toilets unisex at the expense of removing women's private places. That's what you call for. Do you virtue signalers understand that?
All toilets were unisex at one time and the only reason separate women's toilets were devised is to provide safe spaces for women and especially girls. The feminist movement. Now we have biological men judged better women than women in competition and demanding access to all their delegated safe spaces. The progressive agenda. It's no wonder the electorate rejected them.
That is bullshit. That was not my argument and you know it.
The laws they pass actually impact more women than men. Now a woman can be arrested for going to the men's restroom in Texas during a sporting event when the line for the women's restroom snakes back into the stadium, while the men have 5 open stalls. Anyone going into the restroom for purposes other than answering nature's call is a problem, but I don't see a trans person as being a threat, You are talking about .5% of the population. Out of the Entire congress (535 members and thousands of staff) we have one starting in January. Not exactly an earth shaking problem requiring draconian measures.
Many places have gone back to unisex restrooms where they can. Several have always had unisex restrooms. It is not a liberal or progressive idea, it is an economic idea.
@backtobasics Never seemed to be a problem previously did it? Cultures are alive and thus change at times. But it's usually done naturally, an evolution of the society. Government deciding what the culture should be and enacting laws to that effect was never going to work.
@puff It's a solution in search of a problem.
