I have mixed feelings about using it as an insult, but I didn't make the meme. One could make a case that the people who believe Trump's lies/propaganda actually do have a mental disability due to brainwashing/indoctrination. I try not to use the word myself though but it seems so apt in a way sometimes... I think there is a balance of being PC, I was hesitant to share it because it used the word, was kind of curious if anyone would get bothered by it... I feel like there is a pretty limited amount of words Trumpists get offended by, idiot doesn't necessarily cut it... Idk...
