My mom had a friend that wrapped herself in cellophane for her husband, ended up calling my mom to come unwrap her as her body could not get the necessary oxygen and she was passing out.

Moms are like that...
There was actually a book out in the 1970s that encouraged that. I believe it was called "Total Woman" & sadly, was written by a woman. She probably endorsed most of the stuff in the original post too, according to people who actually read it.
