Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Protest is honored right in this country, and should be protected. How many remember the 1968 summer Olympics in Mexico City? We watched with jaws dropped as gloved, black fists were raised from the medal podium during the National Anthem. And yet, most seemed unwilling to confront the source of Smith and Carlos' protest. Today, the same howls and cries are heard in response to legitimate public protest--unpatriotic, un-American, dishonor, etc. How little we seem to have advanced in the past 40 years!

Just read about this! Yes, human rights protest! Yes, we haven't learned! History repeats itself, unfortunately! I stand with Nike and choosing Kaepernick!
Never been into Nike shoes or apparel, but gotta say, Kapernick was a powerful choice.
