There is so much about humanity that I do not expect will ever change.
I'm a realist. I do not expect that we will improve very much in whatever is left of my lifetime.

@KKGator no probably not. You are right. But I like to shoot for the stars I guess.

@Bakunin And you should. Just always be prepared to be disappointed, so when it happens, it won't come as so much of a surprise.
I don't expect much, so when something good happens, I'm always pleasantly surprised.

@KKGator yes again you are right. Wiser words seldom spoken. I'm not really worried though. I am used to disappointment and harrassment. As an atheist and anarchist I have dealt with people hating on me and my ideas for decades. This site is one of the more comfortable spots for me. But yeah, when something good happens I celebrate it. For me that's kinda rare lol.

@KKGator my perception is that humanity has always been about the same, on the one extreme are those that want it all, fuck e everybody else. Today they're called the 1%. On the other extreme are those that aren't gunna be happy untill everyone shares in the bounty, today they're called the humanists. In between are many shades of, let's call it grey. The only thing that has changed, and at times might make it appear that the percentage has shifted is TECHNOLOGY. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
