Heard that before, but it implied alcohol was involved.
One time when I was a mechanic I was pissed because I couldn't find a wrench I needed. Fucking thing was in my hand! It's happened many times where it was in my pocket too.

I think I did worse, while having a conversation on my phone I panicked because I couldn't find my phone...
