When I was doing taxes, the first question was," on dec 31 were you legally married?" got a multitude of different answers to a yes or no question. I would quip when no clients were around, "if they can't figure out if they are married or not, they will never be able to figure out how to do their taxes."

This was hardest when I used to sing in the choir so I was facing the congregation but just got the voice and the back of the preacher's head.
