I like the come back...I hope the responder writes her off...she is not only selfish and condescending, she can't spell...find a better date, Deacon!

Anytime anyone says it's someone else's "duty" to do something, I tend to dismiss
everything else they may have to say.

If I accept a date, I do it with every intention of splitting the check 50/50, or at least paying
for whatever my share is.
I never assume the guy is paying the check.
I also tend to order the least expensive items on the menu.

I really don't like people who take advantage of dating situations.
It's really shows a definite lack of character, and should serve as a giant red flag
to the other person.

Agreed.

@tnorman1236 In the interest of full disclosure, I haven't been on a real date in over 7 years.
LOL

@KKGator I haven't been on one in 38 years!

@tnorman1236 how many times have you asked someone in that time? (or is it that you simply don't bathe?) 😀

@MsDemeanour Well, I was married for almost 35 of those years, so...

@tnorman1236 perhaps you shoulda taken her on more dates?

@MsDemeanour We did our share of that. I wasn't thinking of going out when you're married as "dating".
