I would be more likely to trust government if we can get rid of lobbying/bribing and gerrymandering. Just a group working for the will and good of the people.

@Captnron59 I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. The way I see it is this: The purpose of the 2nd Amendment, as stated in the 2nd Amendment, is that citizens should have firearms so they can form militias when needed. We no longer need militias, because we have standing military forces. The military provides the firearms, and no citizen who joins the military needs to bring his own with him. Because the purpose is no longer valid, I would like to see the 2nd Amendment rescinded, and the only people with firearms should be the police and the military. All these mass shootings and other crimes have got to stop.
I like it better than the MAGA hats they usually wear!
