Reminds me of a jewish friend who kept insisting that I must be jewish and I finally had enough and told him that since my father was adopted and h didn't know his birth parent, well you just never know. My friend immediately said 'I knew it, I just knew it, you're one of us!' I just stared at him and agreed which seem to please him greatly, until I said these words 'I am one of you, I'm absolutely certain that we are of the same race - - - - - The Human Race.'
The conversation ended on that flat note.
