Monarchs need our help on so many fronts. One such front is freeways and roadways in Monarch migration paths. I propose closure of these roads until migration South is complete. Who's with me on signing a petition?

I swear I check this milkweed patch daily. Found this old-timer this morning. Looks to be very close to chrysalis stage. Moved to private quarters.

I love reading about the various caterpillars & butterflies that everyone has in their gardens. I have 19 milkweed plants this year, which is 18 more than last year. I look forward to my future caterpillar & butterfly visitors.
