Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Vicki was sick for a long time. While I was taking care of her, friends drifted away. I don't blame them, I wasn't available. When she passed I knew I needed to be around people, so I joined some Meetup groups just so I wouldn't spend all my time alone, which is what I wanted to do. This has been a big help and eventually I was also able to find love again.

My marriage was absolutely wonderful. When I get sad and nostalgic, I ask myself what kind of life I would have wanted Kenneth to have if I had been the one to die first. I know I would have wanted him to do his best to be happy. That means I do my best to be happy even though it's not always easy.
