It's still 3 days away from the close conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn and this is how close they are tonight. I included a moon shot to compare how close they are and the size of the moon. If you can zoom in on Saturn you will sorta see the rings.

There was a post showing the Anrromeda Galaxy in relation to the Milky Way. This is the article that goes with that picture and there is another that shows the Galaxies are starting to merge now.
