When radiation and winds from massive stars impact clouds of cool gas, they can trigger new generations of stars to form. This is likely what's happening in this object, a region of the Elephant's Trunk Nebula

It's still 3 days away from the close conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn and this is how close they are tonight. I included a moon shot to compare how close they are and the size of the moon. If you can zoom in on Saturn you will sorta see the rings.

Observer's Handbook 2021 This book, put out by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, is an excellent resource. Its 352 pages have articles, charts, and tables for the year 2021. It is generally geared for North America.
